Our vision

A church that
makes room.

Our vision is simple, active and centred on people flourishing in all God has for them.

01

A safe spiritual home

A community of people you can trust—not because they are perfect, but because the love of God in them overflows to everyone they meet.

02

A base for evangelistic outreach

Sharing the hope, healing and strength of the Gospel with Moe, Newborough, Gippsland and beyond.

03

A training centre

Helping people discover their purpose, develop their ministry and widen their influence for good.

Church life

There is room
for you.

Sunday is our shared starting point. Through the week, faith keeps growing around tables, through friendship, in serving and in the everyday moments of life.

Our story

Faithful to the call.
Ready for what’s next.

“God said it, I believe it, that settles it!”
1969

A call to Moe

Lyle and Annette Potts moved their family from Bendigo to Moe. The first Sunday service was held in the RAOB hall on 20 October.

1974

A home for the church

The growing assembly purchased the RAOB hall and began transforming the same Fowler Street building still used today.

Across the years

Faith that travelled

Churches were planted across Gippsland, with outreaches launched in Tasmania and Canberra and a continuing heart for overseas mission.

2026

A new chapter

Steve McNeilly was appointed Senior Pastor, continuing a story marked by faithful leadership, healing, outreach and worship.

Every era has been marked by healing, innovative outreach and passionate mission. The draft fiftieth-anniversary history, That Settles It, is available from the church office for $5.

Steve has held a credential with CRC Churches International since 1987 and has led churches in Broadmeadows, Churchill and Warrnambool. He also serves as Pastor at Churchill Christian Fellowship.
