The time is drawing near to farewell our dear friends Paul and Kate Dam who will be leaving us to go and live with their son Peter and his family in Carrum Downs . We are so grateful that they are a part of our family here at MNLCC, and thank them for their love, commitment and service to this church. They will be greatly missed, and we will be sorry to see them go. However, we wish them well, and many years of good health, fun with their grandchildren, and the warmth and support of their loving family. God bless you and keep you always in His care.
With love,
Joe and Glenda,
And all your family here in Moe.
And from Kate:
Leaving one’s Family Home can cause all sorts of mixed emotions –and that’s what M.N.L.C.C. is to us. It’s where we came as baby Christians almost 44 years ago … it’s where we learned to Walk the Walk, Grow in God and were privileged to serve in whatever way we could. We left 15 years later as my Dad was in his last days and we felt the need to be close to our family.
We came back here 10 years ago after being away for 20 years – It felt so good to be Home again!
We are now at the point of leaving again. We are older now and want very much to spend more time with our family, which includes grand-children and great grand-children, and be part of their lives. We are sad to leave friends, old and new, but know this is the right decision for us at this time in our lives. We leave with hearts full of gratitude for the time here, and with many wonderful memories.
We pray God will continue to bless the M.N.L.C.C. and many will find a Home here as we have. Our best wishes and love always –
From Kate & Paul xxx
